Hamilton Program Board

The student programming organization responsible for bringing entertainment, performers, and cultural events to campus throughout the 1981–1987 era. The Program Board sponsored the regular “Noonmusic” lunchtime concert series at the Bristol Campus Center (free, open to the public, featuring visiting professional musicians), film screenings, comedy acts, and visiting performers. By 1985 the Program Board had an annual student budget allocation from the Student Assembly. It co-sponsored events with Root-Jessup Public Affairs Council and other organizations. The board also ran Wednesday Night Live at Bristol Campus Center, which Bristol planned to expand to include off-campus performers in 1981.
